Suzanne Clements
I live on the challenge, the detail, and the problem solving that my job as a photographer, animator, and director requires. I know that the creation of a truly unique and impactful campaign involves many moving pieces to intertwine harmoniously.
Everyone on my set brings their skills and years of experience to solve that complicated equation of lighting, propping, and styling. Together we find the balance and then I refine and finish it with a little post processing finesse.
Each and every shoot involves that attention to detail, from the simplest layout to the most lush lifestyle setting.
What it’s like on set
A lot like a dance, we each flit between the set and our tools, adjusting the light, the angle, the props, the set, the product... collaborating and feeding into each small victory as a team. There’s a moment when the image appears on screen that we all let loose with a "YES!" That’s the moment the final photo, animation, or video capture materializes on screen, perfectly demonstrating all that attention to detail, and we know THIS IS THE ONE.
On my days off
If I'm not behind the camera, busy on set, or editing into the wee hours, you'll find me happily collecting my share of dust and dirt exploring the woods and trails by way of my Mountain Bike. Next to nothing beats the thrill of getting that shot, but a real good flow comes pretty darned close! ;)
