Five Star Forage
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Project Summary: A one-day spec commercial food studio shoot series by Suzanne Clements, Orlando-based photographer and director, demonstrating her skill in art direction, photography and stills production. This one-day production resulted in a series of vibrant, imaginative photos of various dishes assembled from foraged ingredients. Suzanne is represented out of Chicago, shoots in New York City, LA, Orlando, and everywhere in between.
Five Star Forage imagines fine dining brought to you by the wild. Fully embracing the trend towards wild-harvested foods and inspired by over confident foragers, this series explores the beauty, the whimsy, and the risk/reward factor.
THE SKETCHES
How it started: as usual, I love to begin by manifesting my ideas into sketches first. This helps me think through the logistics of what we’ll need on shoot day, but also to invite my collaborators to see the direction I’m aiming for and offer their own input.
Final ASSETS
My intent was simple: combine my love of the outdoors with my love of art, food and photography to create something dangerously tempting.
4 delicious temptations
Each photo combines precision styling within within a refined, fine dining, wild-foraged aesthetic. Each dish has its own tiny wild ambassador for a touch of whimsy and gentle reminder to be mindful of the source.
